1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Delight Spectrum Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales and trading as Peersto (“Peersto”, “we”, “us”). They apply when you create an account or use the Peersto website, app and related services (the “Service”).
Peersto is built for businesses. If you use it on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for that organisation, and “you” means both you and the organisation. You must be at least 18 years old.
By clicking Create account or Sign in, or by using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
2. The Service
Peersto helps you plan and host online roundtables: event pages and registration, live video sessions with recording and transcription, attendee chat, a contact list of the people you invite and meet, and AI-assisted drafting of event content and invitations. We may add, change or remove features over time. Where a change materially reduces what you pay for, we will tell you in advance.
3. Your account
- Give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
- Keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Tell us promptly through the support page if you think your account has been accessed without permission.
4. Plans, payment and cancellation
Paid plans are billed in advance for the period you choose (for example monthly or every six months) and renew automatically until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card details.
You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. If you are not happy within 14 days of your first payment for a paid plan, contact us and we will refund that payment in full.
Prices are shown on our pricing page and may exclude taxes such as VAT, which are added where required. If we change the price of your plan, we will tell you before it applies to your next billing period.
5. Your content and your guests’ data
You own the content you add to Peersto, such as event pages, agendas, messages, recordings and contact lists. You give us permission to host, process and display it only as needed to run the Service for you.
When you invite people, collect registrations or import contacts, you decide what personal data is used and why, so you are responsible for having a lawful basis to do so and for meeting your obligations under data protection and electronic marketing laws. For that data we act as your processor, as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Recordings, transcripts and AI features
- Sessions can be recorded and transcribed. As the host, you are responsible for telling participants and for any consent the law requires before you record.
- AI features generate suggestions, such as event copy and invitations. They can be inaccurate or incomplete, so review anything before you publish or send it.
- Contact enrichment looks up publicly available professional information. Use it in line with applicable law and the terms of the sources involved.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- break the law or infringe anyone’s rights, including privacy and intellectual property rights;
- send spam or unsolicited messages in breach of electronic marketing laws;
- harass, threaten or mislead people, or host unlawful or harmful content;
- upload malware, probe or attack our systems, or try to access data that is not yours;
- copy, resell or reverse engineer the Service, or scrape it by automated means.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
8. Third-party services
Parts of the Service rely on other providers, for example for video, payments and email delivery. Links to or integrations with third-party services are provided for convenience, and those services are governed by their own terms.
9. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design and branding, belongs to us or our licensors. These terms give you a right to use the Service, not ownership of it. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without obligation to you.
10. Availability
We work to keep Peersto available and reliable, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may carry out maintenance, and we are not responsible for problems caused by your internet connection, devices or third-party services outside our control.
11. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Peersto and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you materially break these terms, fail to pay, or if we are required to by law. Where reasonable, we will give you notice and a chance to export your content first.
12. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data. Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in that period.
You are responsible for claims made against us arising from your content, or from your use of your guests’ and contacts’ personal data in breach of these terms or the law.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is significant, we will let you know by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the updated terms apply.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
